I can’t say enough good things about Do-A-Dot markers! They are bright, bold, and incredibly fun to use. The colors are vibrant and smooth, and they make creating art feel effortless and exciting. Whether it’s for crafts, learning activities, or just doodling, they bring joy every time. We absolutely love them in our home!
Every Color Has a Name
Every color has a name. Every name starts a story.
Most crayons come in "red," "blue," "yellow." Ours come in Lady Bug Red, Octopus Purple, and Goldfish Gold. It's a small thing that turns out to be a big thing: when a color has a name, picking it up becomes a conversation instead of just a stroke.
We name every Do-A-Dot color after the world your kid already loves — animals, snacks, weather, bugs in the backyard. So "what color do you want?" turns into "tell me about the tiger," and a coloring session quietly becomes language, imagination, and connection.
A few of our favorites
- Piggy Pink — soft, warm, and a little bit silly.
- Lady Bug Red — bold and bright, just like the real thing.
- Tiger Tail Orange — the stripe that started a hundred stories.
- Goldfish Gold — shimmery, sunny, snack-approved.
- Octopus Purple — deep, dreamy, eight arms optional.
- Kitty Cat Black — for whiskers, night skies, and everything in between.
That's just the start — our chunky crayon set alone has eighteen named colors, and the full Do-A-Dot rainbow has many more. (Full color chart coming soon — we're painting it as we speak.)
Try this at home
- Ask your little one to name a new color of their own — then use it all afternoon.
- Play "find the color" on a walk: which one matches the sky, the dog, the snack?
- Let them tell you the story of the picture before they tell you what it is.
Mess-free, big-hearted, and made for the way little kids actually think. hi, friends — go make something colorful.
